Does your computer take forever to shutdown or restart (mine did)? Here are a couple of registry edits to shave some time off your shutdown. Of course, before making ANY changes to your registry make sure you create a restore point. Seriously.

If you do not know how to create a restore point then do not attempt to make changes to your registry.
Double-click WaitToKillAppTimeout in the right pane and change the value data to 1000
Sweet.
Please remember that making changes to your registry can cause major problems if you are not careful. If you follow these simple instructions you should be good, but if you experience problems do a restore to an earlier date.
