Fashion designer Marc Ecko revealed himself as Saturday’s winning bidder in the online auction for the ball that Bonds hit last month to break Hank Aaron’s all-time home-run record.

Now, he is taking votes on what the fate of that ball will be. “I bought this baseball to democratize the debate over what to do with it.”

There are three choices: Bestow the ball to Cooperstown, brand it with an asterisk or ban it via a rocket ship in to outer-space.

Funny stuff to be sure, but my take is Marc is just doing this for publicity…
